Pittsburgh Points of Interest

Although Pennsylvania carries a history as a leader of industrial innovation, this is not your father’s Pittsburgh! Pittsburgh has made itself over and gone green in a big way. It’s a lovely city with plenty of treasures to share:

1. Phipps Conservatory & Botanical Gardens built in 1893.

2. Cultural attractions: The Andy Warhol Museum, the Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh, the Frick Art & Historical Center which boasts works by Renaissance masters, the August Wilson Center for African American Culture, the Heinz Hall, home to the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, the Senator John Heinz History Center, and Frank Lloyd Wright’s 1935 house, Fallingwater.

3. Pittsburgh’s Sports Venues: Pittsburgh’s sports venues include Heinz Field, home of the NFL’s Steelers; PNC Park, where the Major League’s Pirates take to bat; LEED-certified Consol Energy Center, hosts the NHL’s Penguins.
