Pre-Professional: An individual who has not yet (and never has) obtained a position working in the cyber security field. This may include anyone who has interest in working in this area with or without formal training and education in the field. Examples of individuals and or situations who may be part of this phase are: individuals who are switching careers (former military, IT, retail, law enforcement, etc.) and students (high school or university).

Each event is designed to address the timely needs of ISSA members through a live, online event and a subsequent recorded version for on-demand viewing and offers a CPE quiz. All content is developed by the ISSA International Web Conference Committee.

• Chapter Mentorship

This program was developed to formalize a relationship between more senior professional individuals in the chapter (Mentors) and the various levels of security professionals seeking entry or navigating different phases of this profession (Mentees). Professionals at every level of the Cybersecurity Career Lifecycle (CSCL) will benefit from participating in this program. The process takes patience, focused study, and hard work. This program is not yet available for all chapters.
