As CISOs, we have spent our careers advocating for security within our organizations. We are challenged to cultivate impeccable technical expertise while managing teams to create a competitive advantage for our company. Many of us have garnered a refined technical skill set however, are we prepared as CISOs to effectively communicate our security needs to the executive suite? Infamous breaches, BYOD, and constant attacks have proven to the C-suite that security is a top business priority. Now that information security has come to the forefront the business agenda, and we have captivated the decision makers, what is that we have to say? How do we say it?
