You must be an active ISSA Member in good standing.

Mission:
Develop Global Board of Directors level professionals and build global community of Board of Director level professionals in order to share the best practices, the latest regulations and technologies.

Vision:
Empower the members of the Board of Directors and like to be the members of the Board of Directors among the cybersecurity professionals so that the organizations will be unto date with the Cybersecurity and the Technology.

Goal:

The ISSA International Board of Directors SIG’s goals and objectives are to:

Increase ISSA International brand awareness globally.
Serve ISSA International and ISSA members globally by adding membership value through education and awareness on topics, including Board Governance.
Promote the selection of qualified technical experts to serve on Boards of Directors so that organizations have the expertise to understand and respond to technical and other systemic risks in the face of rapidly advancing technology.

Chair: Kasi Paturi

Kasi Paturi is a serial entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in developing and founding software businesses. The founding chairman for ISSA Board of Directors SIG, the CEO of Global Cyber Security Initiative (GCSI) and Founding Principal of Blockchain Advisory Institute (BAI). Member of Board of Directors at Wintrust Community Bank (Barrington Bank & Trust Co), Board Member of DePaul University Arditti Center for Risk Management. Advisory Board Member and Chairman of Productivity committee of Central Asian Productivity Research Center (CAPRC). He previously co-founded the American Institute of Computers and was a Managing Principal of AIC Consulting. In addition, Mr. Paturi helped Dr. Ed Mensah develop the nation’s first completely online Public Health Informatics Program, offering graduate degrees and certificates, at the University of Illinois at Chicago. This Public Health Informatics Program was developed from conceptualization to completion by Mr. Paturi and Dr. Mensah, and has produced alumni worldwide. Furthermore, Mr. Paturi was also a Co-founder of DarkStorage (a cloud-based data storage company), Co-founder and Vice President of MPC Systems, a Member of several Asian American Advisory groups and the Commissioner on Economic Development commission for the Village of Hoffman Estates. Mr. Paturi holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Illinois and is a Graduate of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi.
